- Serve as a platform for Member States to underscore their commitments to achieving gender equality, especially in the face of conflict, climate, pushback and anti-rights forces
- Create a multi-stakeholder space that facilitates shifting power to people and communities that are often marginalised or ignored, adolescent girls, young people, Indigenous women and girls, LGBTI, and women, girls and gender-diverse people with disabilities
Our side event
This dynamic and celebratory event will address 30 years of progress on gender equality and rally stakeholders to build on it, bringing renewed momentum in this challenging context.
Activists and advocates will bring the experience and vision that should direct resources and programming. Governments and other entities will share their priorities and plans to accelerate progress while centring those most marginalised.
