International Pride Awards: recognising LGBTIQ+ equality heroes worldwide
On 5 August 2026, the International Pride Awards ceremony takes the stage live from the WorldPride Human Rights Conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Together, we will shine a light on the work of brave and visionary equality heroes, tell their stories, and get inspired to advocate for equality.
An award to recognise LGBTIQ+ equality heroes worldwide
Each award reflects a distinct expression of commitment: movement-building in hostile environments, protection and freedom for trans, gender-diverse, and intersex people, leadership from an emerging generation, a lifelong pursuit of equality, and extraordinary allyship.
The International Pride is a joint project of ILGA World and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with support for the ceremony and broadcast from Deutsche Bank and OutTV.
