Summary
According to Transrespect v. Transphobia, 331 transadjective/umbrella term to describe a person whose gender identity does not match the sex they were assigned at birth. More and genderrefers to a social construct which places cultural and social expectations on individuals based on their assigned sex. More diverse persons were killed across the world between October 2018 and September 2019. These are only the cases that were reported: the actual number is impossible to estimate. Today we remember all of them. We mourn their deaths, we honour their lives, and we continue to fight.
